2 things: Dad and move
Nov. 18th, 2021 04:13 pm2 big things happening recently.
They found a mass in my dad’s colon 2 weeks ago. The good news is that he just came out of surgery and it went better than we had been lead to believe was possible. They think they got all the cancer and they didn’t have to remove so much of his stomach and colon that he will need a colostomy bag!
I am so grateful!!
Especially after the surgeon had lead us to believe there really wasn’t hope and maybe we shouldn’t put him through the stress.
There is still a long road of recovery but great news on this hurdle!
My 2nd bit if news is that we moved into our new house yesterday!
Our cat, Meta, is mostly hiding under the bed still. But he does occasionally explore, so I think he will relax soon.
