Calling my reps

I managed to call my reps for the first time today! I’ve been making slow progress toward doing it for awhile but finally did it.
I used https://5calls.org/ to tell me who to call and it provided scripts.
It checks off the issue when you report having called.
I’m not sure if it will reset tomorrow and let me call again or keep the check marks.
I didn’t do a great job of staying on topic and kind of babbled about things in general in addition to the topic I chose for the script. I hope that still counts for something.
Any tips appreciated!

When I use it, it hasn't reset overnight, but I haven't checked after shutting down and restarting my machine.

I now have a notepad file labeled "framework for calls," which is basically "Hi, this is Name, zip code 02135. I'm calling to ask Rep./Senator whoever to ----." I copy a little bit from the 5calls scripts, but for issues that are getting a lot of attention, the representatives or their staffs are mostly counting how many calls they get on each side of the issue.

I also update that script before picking up the phone, because I'm less likely to stumble over my words if I can read them from the screen instead of remembering what I wanted to say. Even when I use the 5calls scripts, I'm making a few changes--in particular, I'll say "Senator Warren" or "the senator," not the full-name "Senator Elizabeth Warren" style they use.
